Next time, Jaeger shot sans the RedBull

MLS fined Alecko Eskandarian $250 for "inappropriate conduct" with the RedBull after his first goal in Saturday's game against RedBull NewYork (hat tip to The DCenters). So was the inappropriate conduct that he spat out the drink, or that he put that crap in his mouth in the first place? Yick.

Yeah, it's all silly, heaven knows Alecko can afford $250. Hell, even I can afford $250. We all know why the fine was issued, you can't, if you're a governing body, let folks just do anything questionable without a reaction. This is what they do. It's a minimum, I'm good with it. What's cool is, Esky did it anyway.

Hey, will anyone in the US being watching the UEFA champions league semi-final tomorrow between Barcelona and AC Milan. Some of the worlds greatest players will be on the field tomorrow, not to mention the World player of the year Ronaldinho.

Awwww, it looks like that the Barcelona/AC Milan game will be on EPSN Deportes, which in my area is digital cable, and a special package at that. :( There are lots of champions league fans in the US, so I'm sure there will be people taking late lunches to watch.

Milan were held to a 0-0 draw, but had a goal dis-allowed, for no reason (seriously, wasn't offside, wasn't a foul) I think the ref crumbled under the pressure. Anyway It's Barcelona vs Arsenal in the final 17th of may, "SO COME ON YOU GUNNERZ!!!"

I figured the stuff just tasted bad and his was a natural reaction. I've tried it, too. Didn't like it.

:) The lesson here is to not name a crappy drink after a soccer team and thus avoid identity confusion entirely.
